Cringe this Wednesday

The first Cringe of 2009 will be this Wednesday night, January 7.

I didn’t know how much I loved New York Cringe until I had Tulsa Cringe while home for Christmas. While Tulsa Cringe was still a lot of fun and my own mother actually read, I think Cringe is less stressful in a room that doesn’t hold your aunts, uncles, parents’ next door neighbors, teenage children you used to babysit, and former seventh grade Spanish teachers. Who are all wonderful and supportive! But that’s a lot to juggle. So come out this Wednesday and let’s all sit around and drink and and swear and talk about our sexual orientation and proclivities with the comforting knowledge that Uncle Bill won't be there to ask us to repeat ourselves while he furrows his brow.
